Duncan has done multiple UX projects throughout his time at Eastern Washington University, including redesigning the UI for an app, designing a bespoke dashboard, and proposing a complete overhaul to how teaching is done at EWU, among others.

While working towards a UX career, Duncan took multiple classes on both programming and photography. While he has a rudimentary understanding of Python and Java, Duncan spent nearly 2 years studying HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Though he hasn't had the chance to take on any programming jobs so far, Duncan is prepared in case the opportunity arises.

Similarly, while Duncan has never done photography professionally, he has maintained photography as a hobby for many years. Between that and photography and lighting classes at EWU, Duncan is more comfortable with the tools of the trade than ever before.
